3.       Pass the Remote Pilot License (RPL) exam: The RPL exam is a mandatory test that must be passed by anyone who will be operating the drone. The exam covers topics such as airspace restrictions, meteorology, and safety guidelines. It is important to note that the RPL exam can only be taken by Indian citizens, and not by foreign nationals.

4.       Obtain insurance: Before you can obtain a drone license in India, you must also have insurance for your drone. The insurance must cover third-party liability and damage to property.

5.       Receive approval from the DGCA: Once you have completed all the above steps, you can submit your application to the DGCA for approval. The DGCA will review your application and, if it meets all the necessary requirements, will issue you a license to operate your drone in India.
